-Mouthwash can destroy bacteria and nullify acids that are lingering on your teeth and gums causing the smelly, bad breath.

-If you wear dentures, remove them every single night and clean them too. If you neglect your dentures, then you are inviting bacteria into your mouth causing your halitosis.

-Brushing and flossing your teeth are the primary tools for preventing bad breath and keeping a healthy smile. Bad breath can be generated by cavities and neglect of these two very simple, daily habits.

-Most bad breath bacteria are found on your tongue. If you try brushing your tongue or using a tongue scraper tool to clear bacteria, you could help remove the bacteria from your mouth.

-Visit your dentist repeatedly for dental exams every six months for a full cleaning of your teeth and gums. Your dentist will also be able to identify gum disease or any conditions threatening the health of your smile that could be causing you problems.
